Support Local

April 25, 2016 by

On Friday passed my daughter and I were looking to investigate a bit of the Central Coast that we had not ever been to before, and after a bit of Googling we ended up hitting the road for Wyong.

Our little trip led to lovely conversations with a few local people, and as I have looked into life in Wyong a little more I have been so impressed by a community that is full of SPIRIT!

Inspiration is all around for those who would take hold of it, so I am glad to be able to give a few pointers to get you going! Not too many stories up yet, but an excellent opportunity to share yours! Part of Wyong Shire Council’s Year of the Community.

Bobbie P. Gallery if you like to support local artists.

Art on The Hill The ethos of Art on the Hill is to create accessible and affordable art opportunities which engage with children and young people to enhance a sense of identity, wellbeing, and inclusiveness, as well as provide employment and training incentives to support the career prospects of the region's artists.

There is undoubtedly a lot more going on in Wyong..please let us know if you have a project on the go that is life affirming or community building and we will advertise it in our Link -Up section, or you can Share Your Story too.
